An indulgent, fruity natural-process specialty coffee from Colombia. In the cup, blackberry and black cherry meet notes of cacao nibs and prune, with well-balanced acidity, body and flavour. It comes from the El Puente project in Palestina, in the Huila region, which connects more than 426 smallholders to the specialty coffee market through transparency and social impact: training, support with cherry processing, and differentiated prices for cherries and parchment coffee. On average, producers earn 17.6% more than local prices. The coffees are carefully dried (10 to 11% moisture) and independently checked. We roast it by hand in small batches in our workshop at the Jardin de Marie in Neuilly-en-Sancerre.
As filter or slow brew, it reveals its dark fruit notes: blackberry and black cherry. As espresso it becomes rounder and more indulgent, with cacao nibs and prune. Whole bean or ground for your method, in 250 g, 500 g or 1 kg.
Roaster's tip: keep it away from air and light and, if you buy whole beans, grind them just before brewing.
