A fresh, elegant specialty coffee from Tanzania, pairing the brightness of lemongrass with the sweetness of roasted almonds. It is grown at 1,650 m by smallholders of the Malolo agricultural cooperative in the Songwe region, in the south-west of the country. The cooperative supports its members with training in good farming practices, agroforestry and nurseries of improved varieties; pooling resources and sales helps them get better prices. We roast it by hand in small batches in our workshop at the Jardin de Marie in Neuilly-en-Sancerre.
