Guatemala San Lorenzo coffee
Luis “Wicho” Valdés III is a third-generation producer running two sister farms: Finca Santa Isabel and Finca San Lorenzo. In the hills around San Cristóbal, in the Alta Verapaz department of Guatemala's Cobán region, Wicho grows and processes some of the most sought-after coffees in Guatemala.
A smooth, elegant washed specialty coffee from Guatemala, blending notes of plum and orange with the refined bitterness of dark chocolate. It comes from Finca San Lorenzo, farmed by Luis “Wicho” Valdés III, a third-generation producer in the hills of San Cristóbal (Alta Verapaz, Cobán region). We roast it by hand in small batches in our workshop at the Jardin de Marie in Neuilly-en-Sancerre.

Which brewing method?
Its balance makes it a versatile coffee. As espresso it shows its chocolatey side; as filter or in a French press its fruity orange and plum notes come through more. Available as whole beans or ground for your method (filter, espresso, French press, moka pot), in 250 g, 500 g or 1 kg bags.
Roaster's tip: keep it away from air and light and, if you buy whole beans, grind them just before brewing.
