Congo Petit Kuilu Robusta coffee
A smooth, indulgent specialty robusta from Congo with notes of vanilla and almond. Carefully washed, it comes from the young COCOI cooperative in Lukula, in Kongo-Central province.
A specialty robusta from Congo that challenges preconceptions: smooth, round and indulgent, with notes of vanilla and almond. It comes from the COCOI cooperative, founded in 2022 in Lukula, Kongo-Central province. Its modern washing and drying station, set on 3 hectares, allows the red cherries to be processed with care. The cooperative trains its producers in sustainable farming and better planting and harvesting techniques, and employs more than 100 people from the community. We roast it by hand in small batches in our workshop at the Jardin de Marie in Neuilly-en-Sancerre.

Which brewing method?
Robusta really shines as espresso: thick crema, generous body and vanilla notes. Higher in caffeine than arabica, it is also ideal for a café au lait or cappuccino. Whole bean or ground for your method, in 250 g, 500 g or 1 kg.
Roaster's tip: keep it away from air and light and, if you buy whole beans, grind them just before brewing.
